my first (well first finished) SOG card ever!

I will have to hop on here after my visit with my friend tonight, It's her bday on the 31st and I wanted to make sure she got this card while she was in town.

She has the cutest puppy ever named Tank! he is a dachXchihuahua cross and she even won cutest puppy award in our class paper plate awards at our grad.

I decided that I wanted to do a puppy card but felt it needed something so I paired it up with with Kaylee wearing the same sweater (had a hard time paper piecing this one) and colored up with copics.

Originally I was going to post this up at the deconstructingjen sketch challenge earlier in the week but as usual I missed the deadline...

I will post the details later tonight and I might enter it into a challenge but wanted to get it up here first

Random Fact time.... I wont nicest girl in class award and I have my paper plate hanging up in my room to remind me that I should stay positive that people out there really know me. The girls from AHT 2011 Nait graduating class are some of the best friends I have ever made.

I love my Papa!

Hi everyone!

Sorry it has been almost a month since my last post, I have tons of half finished projects that I just haven't been motivated to finished for some odd reason.

We are celebrating my Papa's 77th birthday tonight even though his birthday was last week.... as my post title says I love my papa! I am lucky that I still have all 4 of my grandparents and every birthday I get to spend with them reminds me of how fortunate I am.

He loves antique cars actually both my papa's do (they are like 2 peas in a pod they get along so well because of this) so when I saw this stamp set at my local scrapbook store it went straight into my basket I love the antique cars plus the sayings are small which I like for cards. The hardest part I had making this card was deciding what pattern paper to use, I am obsessed with girly paper and bold geometrics but neither of those would work with a vintage male card.... Luckly I am now trying to trick my brain into buying more masculine items and I just recieved my onecrazystamper order which had this patterned paper.

although a simple card I love how it turned out here are the supplies I used:
Ink: Momento london fog, close to my heart Ocean
Papers: reflections cardstock, Authentique Curiosity (love the teal)
embellies: twine (my minds eye follow your heart) and key from the wedding section in michaels
Stamps: Car classic from (clear art stamps)
Spellbinders die

Random Fact: We name my Havanese (dog) Cobalt after my brother and I were trying to think of names for him and he was spouting out car names... not after the color I joke that he cost me about as much as a car would in maintence he is a little bit of a lemon but I love him so much!

My first ever blog post! (aka Good luck with Stampavie)

Hi there,

This is my first blog post ever! so bare with me as I attempt to get use to this.
Once I am more comfortable with this I most likely will add more fun stuff but this is just a basic blog post for now.

This card I made for my co-worker Chelsey who is going to college and we want to celebrate her last full time week and of course I needed to make her a card....

I found this stamp at onecrazystamper and actually bought it just to make her card (I am turning into a addict if I am just buying a stamp so I can make one card) the stamp is from Stampavie (I am absolutely in love with their product as I am always on the lookout for stamps with animals since I am a Veterinary Nurse) Chelsey loves rabbits and has one of her own so I thought this was perfect.

I stamped her on xpress it with memento black ink (this is going to be my standard so I think unless I specifies something else just assume that this is my go to)
and coloured her up with Copics:
Skin- E000, E00, E21, and R02
Hair E51, E53, and E55
Dress and tights Blue stripe B24, BV05, BV07 white stripes C00, C3
Boots, Butterfly, and Birdie: YR21, Y15, Y17
Background BV00, BV02
Bunny e25, e27 and E53
Grass- Didn't write down sorry

Other supplies used: Paper- follow your heart be amazing by My minds eye (love this paper!) and kraft cardstock from Michaels
Sticker flower- bloomer fabric flowers by Basic Grey (coloured the button orange with my copics)
Letter stickers-
Cutters- Fishtales stacks by MFT

If you leave a comment I would  really appreciate it and I promise these posts will be more streamlined in the future (or leave a constructive comment on how I can streamline this would be appreciated as well)

I thought something fun I could do on my blog is write one random fact so that you all can get to know me better I would love to hear your random facts as well so I can get to know you better.

Random Fact........ I love colour but rarely do I wear it when planning a wardrobe but hope to change that in a future black may look good on me but it is rather boring.
