I love my Papa!

Hi everyone!

Sorry it has been almost a month since my last post, I have tons of half finished projects that I just haven't been motivated to finished for some odd reason.

We are celebrating my Papa's 77th birthday tonight even though his birthday was last week.... as my post title says I love my papa! I am lucky that I still have all 4 of my grandparents and every birthday I get to spend with them reminds me of how fortunate I am.

He loves antique cars actually both my papa's do (they are like 2 peas in a pod they get along so well because of this) so when I saw this stamp set at my local scrapbook store it went straight into my basket I love the antique cars plus the sayings are small which I like for cards. The hardest part I had making this card was deciding what pattern paper to use, I am obsessed with girly paper and bold geometrics but neither of those would work with a vintage male card.... Luckly I am now trying to trick my brain into buying more masculine items and I just recieved my onecrazystamper order which had this patterned paper.

although a simple card I love how it turned out here are the supplies I used:
Ink: Momento london fog, close to my heart Ocean
Papers: reflections cardstock, Authentique Curiosity (love the teal)
embellies: twine (my minds eye follow your heart) and key from the wedding section in michaels
Stamps: Car classic from (clear art stamps)
Spellbinders die

Random Fact: We name my Havanese (dog) Cobalt after my brother and I were trying to think of names for him and he was spouting out car names... not after the color I joke that he cost me about as much as a car would in maintence he is a little bit of a lemon but I love him so much!
